Job Description

JOB TITLE: Mechanical Fitter/ Engineer

 

Location: Crewe, Manchester, Liverpool, Warrington, Stoke-on-Trent, Chester, Northwich, Macclesfield, Wrexham.

 

SALARY AND BENEFITS:  Standard Rates of £18 ph (PAYE)

                                                                               £24ph (Ltd)

 

                                            Overtime Rates of £27 (PAYE)

                                                                               £36 (Ltd)

 

COMPANY INFORMATION: My client is a world leader in the power generation and having recently landed themselves a new contract, the construction of a brand-new composting facility they need skilled mechanical fitters

 

 

YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

  • Proven skilled engineer with mechanical experience working on large projects such as power plants and manufacturing plants is desirable.
  • Must have CCNSG safety passport
  • Must have Telehandler or Ipaf ticket
  • Must be able to work both alone and in a small team
  • It is essential candidates can work under pressure and stick to tight deadlines
  • Ability to work at heights

 

 

ROLE INFORMATION: The role is due to start asap and will be installing plant machineries such as fans, gearboxes, motors etc both at ground level and at heights. This will be on a contract basis that will be lasting 12 weeks, ending just before Christmas.

 

Working hours are as stated; 7am-5:30pm Mon-Thurs and 7am- 2:30pm Fridays (47 hours per week).
