JOB TITLE: Environmental Officer, Environmental Advisor

COMPANY INFORMATION: Our client are a leading power generation company, based in Yorkshire.
YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
- Environmental or Chemistry Degree or equivalent
- Experience in the power or Process industry or working on COMAH sites
- Excellent working knowledge
- Proven ability to lead teams of people
- Ability to problem solve
ROLE INFORMATION: The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all site Environmental Management systems. Ideally the successful candidate will have come from a power, Process or heavy industry and has excellent knowledge of Emissions testing, environmental compliance, greenhouse gas trading permits, working with stakeholders to ensure best practice, amend, manage and implement current legislation to ensure the site falls within its current management system.
You will also be required to support and provide legislative and technical knowledge to other departments on projects they are looking to carry out. This position would be perfect for someone looking to further their career and progress into management.
