Commutable from Anlaby, Barton, Beverley, Brigg, Cottingham, Hessle, Hull, Swanland, Skidby, Walkington, Willerby

Company

My client is an award winning   manufacturer in a specialist and growing market that supply to a range of different industries including Automotive, Plastics, Food and Drink, Steel and Pharmaceutical. They have just moved to a new purpose built factory with double the shop floor space and new improved working areas and equipment.   Once you have completed your training you will be working on a permanent afternoon shift doing Monday to Thursday 2:45pm-10pm and Friday 2:45pm to 9pm.

You must have the following:

-          You must have some form of manufacturing, assembly or engineering experience

-          Ability to work to production targets and KPIs

-          Excellent Attention to detail

-          Must have experience of hand tools

-          Must have some cable, soldering or harness experience

-          Must be happy working a permanent afternoon shift

-          Must take real pride in your work

-          Must be a fast learner

-          Must be able to follow set procedures and guidelines

-          Must have basic IT skills

-          Ideally have some form of manufacturing, assembly or engineering experience

-          Ability to work to production targets and KPIs

Role:

The role will involve the final assembly of various specialist products. The position will be electro-mechanical and involve soldering, cable assembly and final assembly. The Mechanical work could involve the build of sub-assemblies which may comprise of brackets, tubes and optics. The candidates will be working from engineering drawings using various hand tools including spanners, ratchets, screwdrivers, torque wrenches and specialist measuring equipment. The Electronic work could be soldering cable to cable, on the PCBs or within the RF division, cutting cables down to size and crimping. Due to the specialist nature of the work all builds must be to the finest quality standards and tolerances.
