JOB TITLE:  Tool Setter

 

COMMUTABLE FROM:  Barnetby, Barton, Brigg, Doncaster, Gainsbrough, Goole, Goxhill, Grimsby, Keadby, Market Rasen, Retford, Scunthorpe, Thorne, Winterton

Shift Pattern:           Mon – Thurs (8am – 5pm), Fri (8am – 1pm)

 

COMPANY INFORMATION: My client is a specialist manufacturer who supplies products across the globe and is currently looking to recruit a Tool Setter due to expanding it’s production capacity.

 

YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

·                                 Experience working as a machine setter

·                                 Experience within the Injection Moulding Industry

·                                 You will have experience in Setting, conditioning, tool changes & tool trialling

·                                 Experience of working in a Fast-moving production environment

·                                 Ability to work under pressure

 

ROLE INFORMATION: My client is looking for an experienced setter to join the team to ensure that tool changes occur and that processes are started to enable the manufacturing team to produce parts for the customer.

 

·         Setting, optimising and maintaining quality product production from the injection moulding machines and all ancillary equipment.

·         Ensuring all quality checks and machine checks are undertaken and maintained along with all exiting procedures in place, and advising immediate manager of any issue preventing this task being undertaken or quality concern.

·         Working along side the tool room to ensure tools are kept in optimum condition, reporting all faults, concerns immediately.

·         The packaging and labelling of products within Primary Process.

·         Inspect all parts and finished products received to ensure dimensional quality, appearance and standards are acceptable.

·         Maintain output and take the necessary action as appropriate to achieve the desired results in terms of quality and performance.

·         Advise immediate manager of all quality concerns.
