Job Description

JOB TITLE:  Supply Chain Administrator / Sales Administrator / Procurement Administrator / Purchasing Assistant / Assistant Buyer

 

COMMUTABLE FROM:  Stoke-on-Trent, Stone, Leek, Alton, Stafford, Crewe, Newcastle-under-Lyme, Congleton, Market Drayton, Stafford

 

SALARY AND BENEFITS:

COMPANY INFORMATION: Our Client is a leading specialist in Electromechanical Engineering that design, build, service, repair and distribute across the world. They currently operate multiple sites in the UK and across the globe.

 

YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

 

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Packages
  • Knowledge of sales order administration and in managing the full end to end sales cycle.
  • Experience in production planning and scheduling.
  • Strong computer skills with the ability to work accurately and efficiently to meet deadlines
  • Confident in dealing with internal and external customers at all levels.

 

ROLE INFORMATION: The successful candidate will report to the Supply Chain Manager. This is an ideal role for someone with some knowledge and experience of purchasing but wants to learn and grow in the job. The new team member will be involved in creating purchase orders, expediting orders with suppliers, chasing overdue orders to name just a few activities. To support with this, needs to have good analytical, problem-solving skills, be a good communicator and listener.
