JOB TITLE: Contract Manufacturing Technician, Semi skilled Engineer, Engineering support technician, Maintenance Fitter

COMMUTABLE FROM:  Doncaster, Wakefield, Sheffield, Rotherham, Scunthorpe, Leeds, Selby, Pontefract, Barnsley, Worksop, Gainsborough

Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off (2 days 2 nights)

SALARY AND BENEFITS:

• £12 – 16ph PAYE
• Overtime

COMPANY INFORMATION: Our Client is a leading manufacturer in the Yorkshire area that currently have a large number of contracts in place with major retail brands.

YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work on your own and as part of a team
• Experience changing filters, replacing pipework, lubricating and greasing
• A formal Engineering qualification could be advantageous (NVQ level 2 etc.)
• Experience working within a manufacturing environment would be advantageous
• Self-starter/ motivated to progress

ROLE INFORMATION: Our Client are currently looking to recruit 4x Manufacturing Technicians, you don’t need to be a fully qualified Engineer to be successful for this role but you do need to have the desire to learn and progress your own skill set. Initially you will be required to carry out basic mechanical maintenance on manufacturing equipment ie. changing filters, replacing pipework, greasing, and oiling machinery. You will also be required to clean machines down tidy production lines to ensure manufacturing processes are adhered to.

This role will initially be for 3 months and could lead to a full-time permanent position for the right person who shows willing and desire to succeed. This position would be a good opportunity for Engineers looking to gain more experience.
