Company Information:

My client, a market leading Food Company are currently recruiting for a shift m/s maintenance technician to work on a 4 on 4off day shift pattern working 6am-6pm.

 

You must have the following:

 

  • Must have experience working as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician

 

  • Must be Electrically biased and have 17th or 18th Edition

 

  • Must be competent in both Electrical and Mechanical fault finding

 

  • Ideally have worked in a food environment but other FMCG backgrounds will be considered.

 

  • Must have a pro-active approach to maintenance

 

  • Must have some experience of PPM and Continuous Improvement

 

Role Information:

The position will be working on various food equipment include packaging machines,  labellers, presses, slicers, inspection equipment, fillers and conveyors, . The m/s maintenance engineer will focus mostly on reactive and pre-planned maintenance on 1st and 3 phase electrics, carrying out electrical FFR on drives, testing, rewiring motors, replacing sensors, fault finding on PLCs. The successful candidate may also get involved in basic site services such as refrigeration and compressors. It is essential that candidates are also prepared to get involved in mechanical repairs and maintenance as this is a multi-skilled position.
