Company Information

My client is a leading food manufacturing company who are looking to recruit a HR Advisor to work at a new purpose-built facility. The company have multiple sites across the UK and supply to the major supermarkets.

You must have the following:

  • Have a minimum of 2 years HR Advisor experience ideally within some form of manufacturing, warehouse or FMCG experience
  • Have a high level of communication skills (both written & verbal)
  • Have a dynamic and flexible approach, as well as the ability to work under pressure in a high speed and demanding experience
  • Have an exceptional attention to detail and ability to prioritise own workload
  • Must be a true people person and be able to communicate with staff across all levels of the business

 

 

Role Information:

 

My client is looking for a confident, enthusiastic and highly motivated HR professional, to join our Human Resources Team. The post holder will take on a range of general HR duties and will be working from the site Mon to Fri 9am to 6pm.

 

The key elements of the role are:

 

  • Provide generalist HR support and advice to managers including investigation, discipline, grievance, flexible working, welfares, manage performance, absence and AWOL’s 
  • Work on various projects as defined by the company or the Human Resources Manager.
  • Review and update HR policies and procedures, educating managers in their application
  • Offer coaching and 1-2-1 support as required
  • Keeping up to date with employment law changes
  • Supporting the implementation and maintenance of the following:
    • Ethical Trading Framework
    • External and Internal audits
    • KPI and key information gathering
  • Present to internal and external auditors on behalf of HR and Training
  • Assisting with payroll and the time and attendance system
  • Supporting and advising the recruitment process and assisting with Interviews when required
  • Support with the sites training needs.
  • Lead by example and  maintain an appropriate behavioural standard

 

The successful candidate will:

  • Have a minimum of 2 years HR Advisor experience within manufacturing
