Accounts Office Manager/Finance Office Manager

£25,000 - £30,000 + Bonus + Pension

 

My client is a well-established and expanding company that specialise in the design and manufacture of mechanical systems to a variety of industries. Due to their increased workload and expansion plans they are looking to recruit an Accounts Office Manager on a permanent basis.

 

YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

 

  • Previous experience in an Accounts Department  
  • Must have the ability manage a Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger etc
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent administration and IT skills
  • Self-motivated

 

ROLE INFORMATION:

 

The successful candidate will be responsible for the managing of the Accounts Department, including the responsibility for the Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger, Bank and Legal compliance aspects of Accounts. 

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Send out invoices to the customers and ensure all queries are dealt with in an efficient manner.  
  • Follow up debtors and ensure they are paying the invoices in a timely manner.
  • Manage the Purchase Ledger Accounts Assistant to ensure all supplier invoices are entered on the system.
  • Oversee the payment of the supplier accounts.
  • Record and reconcile all company transactions.
  • Manage bank payments out to suppliers and contractors.
  • Preparation of management accounts
