Commutable from Beverley, Bridlington. Cottingham , Driffield, Hedon, Hessle,  Hornsea, Hull, Leven, Preston, Willerby.

Company

My client is a leading plastics manufacturing company who are looking to recruit a mechanically biased maintenance engineer. The client supplies to a range of key industries across the uk including Heating, Industrial, Automotive, Defence and Consumer Goods.

You must have the following:

  • Previous Mechanical maintenance experience
  • Ideally be apprentice trained with NVQ level 3 in Engineering being a Minimum
  • Must be able to work both alone and in a small team.
  • It is essential candidates can work under pressure.
  • Must have good understanding of Hydraulics and Pneumatics
  • Experience of both reactive and pre-planned maintenance
  • Ideally have some form of Electrical qualification either 17th or 18th edition

Role:

The successful candidate will be working on a Mon-Fri 8am to 430PM as part of a multi-disciplined Engineering team.

 

Duties & Responsibilities:-

  • Troubleshoot and repair machine faults independently
  • Perform Preventative Maintenance for production and facility equipment
  • Assist in new equipment installation and commissioning
  • Create and complete necessary documentation for repairs as required
  • Refine work processes/procedures for existing machines, including Preventative Maintenance Procedures
  • Record maintenance data and share knowledge with other team members
  • Support operations initiatives throughout the facility, ensuring safety, housekeeping and quality standards are maintained
  • Support business with flexible hours when requested
