Location- Commutable from Beverley, Barton, Brigg, Bridlington, Cottingham, Driffield, Hessle, Hornsea, Hull, Goole, Market Weighton, Willerby.

Company Information

My client is part of a worldwide manufacturing group who supply to industries all over the world. They are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Electrician

You must have the following:

  • Must have served a recognised Electrical Engineering Apprenticeship
  • Must have worked in a Heavy industrial / factory / manufacturing based environment before.
  • Must have 17th or 18th Edition
  • Ideally have some Multi-Skilled Experience
  • Must be flexible to work other shifts when required



 An excellent opportunity has arisen for a multi-skilled apprentice trained Electrician with a minimum of 5 years’ experience gained within a heavy industrial engineering background. The role involves maintenance, fault finding and installation on a wide variety of production equipment.

The role will be predominantly Maintenance both reacting to break downs and also carrying out essential PPM. The machinery is bespoke to their industry and includes a mix of older heavier machinery and also some faster paced automated equipment. The company are currently undergoing a series of machinery improvements and CI Initiatives so the successful candidate may also get involved in some project work. The successful candidate will need to have proven Electrical experience as they may be the sole electrician on shift. As part of the role the successful candidate will also be expected to help coach and develop the apprentices when needed.
