My client are a food manufacturing company who are looking to recruit an Electrical M/S Maintenance Engineer to work predominantly on a 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm shift, but also work some night shifts 10pm-6am (1 in every 8 weeks)
You must have the following:
- Must have served an Electrical apprenticeship and have good Electrical fault finding skills
- Must have Multi-Skilled Maintenance experience and be confident in tackling both mechanical and electrical problems
- Must be able to work independently and in a small team
- It is essential candidates can work under pressure and work to targets
- Must have previous experience of PPM
- Ideally candidates would have food experience, but other FMCG backgrounds may be considered
The successful candidate will be expected to provide technical support to the site to ensure maximum utilisation of plant, systems and machinery. They must maintain the company standards of quality, productivity, environmental and health and safety standards at all time.
The company has a wide array of food equipment including slicing machines, packaging machines, check weighers, inspection machines, conveyors, refrigeration etc. Faults can be both Electrical and Mechanical so the individual must be truly multi-skilled. The role itself will be a mix of both Reactive and Pre-Planned Maintenance.
