JOB TITLE:  Machine Operative / Machine Minder


COMMUTABLE FROM:  Hull, Howden, Beverley, Hessle, Willerby, Anlaby, Cottingham, Barton upon Humber, Goole, Gilberdyke, Market Weighton.


SALARY AND BENEFITS: £24,082 + Overtime + Life Assurance x 2 + Healthcare Scheme


COMPANY INFORMATION: My client is a well-established firm that provides waste management and recycling to the retail and food market. The firm are based at their purpose-built site which has an AD plant, Bulk storage and recycling facilities.




  • Experience in operating process based machinery.
  • Must be able to work towards targets and as part of a team.
  • Must be happy to work in dirty conditions.
  • Must be flexible to cover other shifts for colleagues’ annual leave etc.
  • Ideally have an FLT or Bobcat license
  • Must have own vehicle due to the location of the client


ROLE INFORMATION: This role requires the candidate to operate, test and clean a piece of process-based machinery. The worker will also be operating a centrifuge machine. There will also be a requirement for the candidate to operate a Bobcat machine where full training will be provided for this.  This role will be to remove waste using the Bobcat machine and loading the centrifuge machine. Alongside this you will be required to operate and manage the machinery’s control from a dedicated area. The position will be working Monday to Friday 7am-5pm.
