Job Description

JOB TITLE: Commercial Vehicle Technician

COMMUTABLE FROM:  Hull, Beverley, Hessle, Brough, Gilberdyke, Market Weighton, Pocklington, York, Howden, Goole, Selby.

COMPANY INFORMATION: My client is a sustainable Waste Processing firm with multiple sites across the UK, they create Energy from Waste which is in turn distributed to the national grid.

 

 

YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

  • Experience in repairing and maintenance of company fleet which includes HGVs, Commercial and Plant vehicles.
  • Knowledge of vehicle repair standards (VOSA).
  • Attention to detail.
  • Experience of preparing vehicles for MOT inspections.
  • Ideally possess a class 1 license, although not essential as the client will provide this.

 

 

ROLE INFORMATION: The successful candidate will be required to maintain and repair the company fleet of HGVs and Commercial vehicles to VOSA standards, alongside maintaining a record of repairs and maintenance. The successful candidate will also be required to diagnose faults using computer equipment, along with preparing the company fleet for MOT inspection.
