Job Description

Job Title: Fabricator/Welder (Staircase Engineer)

Location: Commutable from Leicester, Nottingham, Grantham, Mansfield, and Derby

Salary and Benefits: Between £10-12 per hour, 39 hours per week. Overtime is time and a half weekdays and Saturdays, double time Sundays and Bank Holidays.

Duration: Permanent

 

Company Information:

The client is a well-established engineering company that designs, builds and installs specialist and bespoke steel fabrication work.

 

You must have the following:

·         Experience working with stainless steel fabrication and TIG Welding

·         MIG and Stick experience preferred

·         Experience in the manufacture of staircases is preferable

·         Ability to fit in well with an existing shop floor team

·         Ability to work on own initiative

·         Flexible working attitude including willingness to travel to site throughout the UK and stay                       overnight.

 

Role Information:

The successful Fabricator/Welder will be working within an established team, working from engineering drawings of bespoke staircases, balustrades, balconies for high end clients. The role involves measuring onsite, planning, setting out as well as the fabrication and welding through to the installation on site.
