JOB TITLE: Operations Shift Manager



COMMUTABLE FROM:  Hull, Hessle, Willerby, Goole, Doncaster, Beverley, Scunthorpe, Immingham, Grimsby, Gainsborough, Brigg, Market Rasen and Selby




  • £37 500 Basic Salary
  • 22% shift allowance (£8250)
  • 25 days annual leave + bank holidays
  • Training and Development



COMPANY INFORMATION: Our Client is a Well-established leading plastics manufacturer that have over 50 manufacturing sites across the globe. They currently manufacturer products for a number of blue chip companies




  • Applicants must have previous experience of management in an FMCG background
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement
  • Ideally be qualified to degree level in management
  • The ability to manage a team of 50+ people to achieve KPI’s set out in production meetings
  • Excellent man management skills
  • Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing


ROLE INFORMATION: The successful applicant will be responsible for managing a team of Supervisors and Operatives on a 3 shift Rota (6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm and 10pm-6am) to achieve KPI’s set out by senior management. You will be responsible for driving good manufacturing process, Lean manufacturing to reduce an minimise waste as well as monitoring and adhering to budget constraints to meet senior management’s expectations.

The successful applicant will also be responsible for liaising with H&S Officers, Quality Supervisors and team leaders to ensure these measurable’ s are all being adhered to as well.
