Health and Safety Advisor (12 Month FTC)

 

Commutable from Brigg, Caistor, Doncaster, Gainsborough, Grimsby, Lincoln, Market Rasen, Newark, Retford , Scunthorpe,  Wragby.

 

Salary and Benefits: £27,000 + Pension + 20 days holiday

Company Information:

 

My client is a market leading company who operate in a specialist market who supply to a wide array of different industries. The site has recently been expanded and is full of modern state of the art technology and machinery.  Due to these expansions, my client is looking to recruit a Health and Safety Advisor on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract, with the potential for this to become a permanent opportunity for the right person.

 

YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

 

  • NEBOSH Certificate or working towards
  • Excellent knowledge of Health and Safety Legislation
  • Experience of writing Risk Assessments
  • Manufacturing background
  • Excellent communication skills  

 

ROLE INFORMATION:

 

Reporting to the company’s Health and Safety Manager, the successful Health and Safety Advisor will assist in the development of the current health and safety management system.  The role will also involve writing risk assessments and identifying actions to be taken. The Health and Safety Advisor will also be responsible for producing Safe Operating Procedures for all engineering and operational procedures on the site.
