My client are leading Food Company who are looking to recruit a night shift manager initially on a 2 month interim contract with the chance of a permanent position at the end of the contract.

-          Must have past experience with the food sector

-          Must have strong people management skills.

-          Must have experience of managing a hygiene team

You will have full responsibility of the night shift looking after 19 staff and you will be expected to manage the hygiene and line setting functions to ensure that production will be ready to run for the morning shift.

 

 

The successful candidate will have to carry out various audits to maintain high standards of food safety and health & safety on site. As the sole manager on nights you will be carrying out team briefings and must lead, coach and motivate teams to achieve their departmental targets. You must actively look to promote continuous improvement and as part of the team proactively seek new and improved methods of working to increase efficiency. This is a varied and challenging role and anyone who wishes to be considered must have excellent communication and problem solving skills.
