Company Information:
My client are a leading engineering firm and are looking to bring in either a recent graduate or someone who has just finished an apprenticeship in engineering and wants to establish a career working in the drawing office.
You must have the following:
- Candidates must have proven 2D AutoCAD knowledge
- Either an engineering degree or an engineering apprenticeship.
- Ability to work under pressure and produce drawings quickly
- Ideally some experience of using Inventor.
Duties
The successful candidate will be expected to produce detailed manufacturing drawings and assembly drawings in predominantly 2D AutoCad exact to customers bespoke applications. The drawings can vary from structural steel work, sheet metal and piping. My client works to the finest tolerances and precision detailing is a must. The role will be office based working on several projects to strict customer deadlines. Some 3D work on inventor may be required for certain projects, but adequate training is provided.
