Commutable from Leeds, Hull, Middlesbrough, Malton, Harrogate, Ripon, Driffield, Scarborough, Selby, Goole, Teesside, Whitby.
 
Salary and Benefits: £30k - £40k dependent upon experience & 24 days holiday and Pension and Car Allowance.
 
Working Hours: 36.25 per week

Company Information:
Our client is a specialist design and manufacturer of materials handling solutions to the Power, Rail, Manufacturing and heavy industries.
 
Role Information:
 
The E C & I Engineer will provide complete controls design including software and electrical design within time and cost constraints of material handling related projects. They will ensure the solutions meet the requirements of the project. They will also be required to manage control panel subcontractors and instrumentation requirements.
 
This role requires experience in control and software design which demands high quality and attention to detail.
 
Predominantly based in the UK however overseas travel will be required.
 
Electrical Design
 
·         Electrical Schematics
·         Electrical Distribution Equipment Specifications
·         Vendor Technical Specifications
·         P&ID’s
·         I/O Alarm and Trip Schedules
·         Instrument Schedules
·         Undertaking of SAT and FAT tests for control panels and making recommendations.
·         Prepare tender specifications for the procurement of control panels, site wiring.
 
Software Design
 
·         To create functional design specifications
·         To design and test PLC, SCADA codes – Siemens and Allen Bradley
·         Network design
·         Develop standard blocks and solutions for applications.
 
General Responsibilities
 
·         To co-ordinate the electrical and software design.
·         To liase with Project Sales and Project Managers during project phases.
·         To provide Technical information to relevant departments.
·         To provide Technical backup to the Commissioning Team as required.
