The role of Mechanical Technician will be accountable for the installation, monitoring, maintenance or provision of the following;

• Rotating Machinery

• Combustion equipment

• Solids handling conveying

• Lifting and rigging

• Pressure systems.

The main areas of competence for this role are;

• Trained / qualified complex lift assessor

• Manual handling

• LOLER – Lifting tackle

• LEV’s • DSEAR awareness

• Maintenance and setting up for optimum performance for equipment.

 The Job holder will have Experience in;

• Working on a large industrial site

• Issuing and receiving of permits to work

• Risk assessments techniques • Condition based monitoring in areas such as o Vibration analysis o NDT o Thermography o Ultrasound.
